Preparation:

     *Exfoliate before each session to remove dry, flaky skin. Using a salt scrub in the shower before your sunless session will remove dead, dry skin cells and allow better absorption of the sunless product for a more even tan. Note: Avoid using bar soaps or in shower moisturizers prior to your session, these products can halt the DHA bronzing reaction or cause the “orange effect”.
     *Do not apply lotion or make-up prior to your session for best results.
     *Wear loose fitting clothing and remove jewelry.

Maintenance

     *Avoid water! You must avoid water for at least 4 hours or you will stop the tanning action of the DHA and/or cause streaking.
     *Avoid swimming and spas. Avoid chemically treated pools and spas for 24 hours to prevent color from fading.
     *Cleansing -wait to shower. For maximum results wait at least 16 hours before showering or bathing.
     *Tan extend/Moisturize. The day after your sunless session and after your first shower, use a tan extending lotion to help keep your skin moisturized and your tan healthy! Ask your salon rep for recommendations.
